### **Hao Ji Zhu**

In a world of increasing complexity, Hao Ji Zhu stands out as a systems architect uniquely built to operate at the critical frontier with a rare ability to connect.

Driven by her vision to co-create a flourishing inclusive future for all, Hao Ji worked across the United Nations, public, private, and non-profit sectors in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East on diverse high-impact issues including international development, humanitarian assistance, conflict prevention and peacebuilding, governance, human rights, minority rights advocacy, education, and youth empowerment. For years, she was an indispensable navigator within the United Nations, managing multi-million-dollar strategic partnerships that successfully aligned diverse stakeholders around shared values, and designed backbone enabling systems for worldwide operations.

This synthesis grants her deep humanity-anchored discernment, systems apprehension, intellectual pragmatism, non-routine strategic imagination, and diplomatic acumen to bridge critical disconnects and drive pivoting solutions. 

Today, she partners with global organizations to turn value-centered visions to impact, especially on responsible AI. She advises on smart cities DPI governance and regulatory approaches at the United Nations, working with urban planners, policymakers, city leaders, and global practitioners across sectors in developing standardized framework to support trusted, interoperable, inclusive, and people-centered digital public services in smart cities worldwide.

Hao Ji is a polymath trained in critical theory, philosophy, and political science informed by complexity systems thinking and continuous integration of frameworks on responsible AI adoption and digital transformation, including those from Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Oxford.
